    Reservations are Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable.

    Failure to vacate by 1 PM may result in an additional nights fee.

    Failure to comply with these rules is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $1000.00 under County Parks Division Rules and Regulation Article 13. If you observe a violation please call Park Staff at 287-2624.

General
  • FIREWOOD
    Only wood sold by the park itself, pre-bundled firewood which contains DNR certification it is free of invasive species and diseases and clean, untreated lumber is permitted in the park; use of all other wood is prohibited.

    You may purchase firewood from the Campground Host at designated times: 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM

  • PETS
    Domestic pets are only allowed in the Park campground, picnic Areas, and on two specific trails. Owners are allowed to walk their dogs ONLY on the LAKE TRAIL, and on the MEADOW TRAIL .

    Dogs must be leashed AT ALL TIMES, and must be cleaned up after.

    Dogs are NOT allowed on the swimming beach, or in any of the non-developed or natural areas in the park. Look for the signs designating where you are allowed to walk your dog, and where dogs are not allowed.

    Pets are not allowed in camper cabin or on the porch at any time.

    Campers with barking dogs will be asked to leave the Park.

  • Please wash dishes at the campsite. DO NOT USE the restroom building to wash your dishes. Rinse water may be disposed of at the Dump Station or Fish Cleaning Building. Clean fish in the building provided for this.

    The Dump Station is reserved for registered campers only. Emptying the waste holding tanks of campers and recreational vehicles when the vehicle owner or operator is not renting a campsite at the park is prohibited.

    Trash - Recycle!

    Please deposit garbage and refuse in the receptacles provided. These are located near the campground entrance.

  • Running extension cords between campsites is prohibited.

    Music and radios must not be played at a volume that can be heard beyond your campsite.

    For safety, no personal heating units, cook stoves or any open flame is allowed in the camper cabin or porch at any time. The only exception is a crockpot, toaster and coffee pot. Small appliances not provided.

    Observe quiet hours between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m - excessive noise is prohibited.

  • The use of Firearms, Firecrackers, and all other Pyrotechnic Devices is strictly prohibited and violators will be asked to leave the campground. Refunds WILL NOT BE ISSUED

  • All campsites are BACK-IN-SITES only. Keep vehicles on the gravel pad provided. DO NOT PARK vehicles on the grass.

    Please print off your reservation receipt and bring with you when arriving at the park.

  • SMOKING
    Smoking is prohibited in all public buildings including the bathrooms, beach house and in the cabin or on the porch. County smoking ban policy will be enforced. If you observe a violation please call Park Staff at 287-2624.

  • Fees for camping are "PER UNIT", meaning "PER TENT, CAMPER, RV, ETC." Fees for camping are not "PER SITE." If multiple "units" are on the same site, all must still pay the individual camping fee.

    Tents or additional sleeping shelters ARE NOT allowed on cabin site.

Vehicle Permit
  • VEHICLE PERMIT
    I understand that Vehicle Entry Permits must be purchased upon entry into the park at the Gatehouse. The entry fee is NOT included in the reservation fee.

    Daily Vehicle Entry Permits are $5.00, Annual Vehicle Entry Permits are $25.00, and Senior rate is $20.00. A daily vehicle permit will cover the duration of a camping reservation.

    Vehicles in tow will NOT be charged an entry permit fee, but if the towed vehicle leaves the park an entry permit must be affixed to a vehicle upon reentry into the park.

    Visitors or extra vehicles may be parked at the Picnic Shelter parking lots or at the entrance to the Campground. Visitors must leave the Park by 10:00 PM

    The speed limit is 5 MPH in the campground. Please follow the one-way route as marked.
